Personality: Duncan is stubborn and opinionated very seldom will admit he is wrong usually more willing to keep up a fight then say he was wrong. Because of his education and exsperinces he can come across as seeing himself as better then others on the island. He sometimes tries to fix there problems useing his city smarts and usually is proven that the island way was the better choice.
Background: Was born the second youngest out of 5 to Abbot and Mary MacTavish on Windermere. He grew up milking cows and and playing in the forrests and meadows with the other children on the island. When he was 15 his mother brother his Uncle Ebenezer Samuel a wealthy man who had become wealthy in New York offered to take Duncan with him too see the world to give him the best education in the world in some of the top schools. Duncan would come to study law and would never return to the island until his father died and he returned for the funeral.
