The other night I watched a show on DTMS called "Children of the State" which was about the starving children in N. Korea. It was very sad. N. Korea is a very terrible place and I wish I could do something about all the poor people there. Did anyone else see it?

No I didn't see it either but i agree with you that is very sad and i wish i could do something about it.

The show was about this guy who took a hidden camera into N.Korea and filmed some of the children who are orphans and have no one to take care of them. Often their parents died from starvation. These kids would pick up rice from the ground that other families dropped when they were eating. These families had money to feed themselves but they ignored the homeless, starving children. Other parts of this show or one that followed talked about how most of the good farm land was now used to grow heroin which was exported and the money given to the elite. Also, the food that america and other countries send to N. Korea is stolen and sold on the black market. Also, the orphan children are sometimes put into a "home" where they are not fed but 2 or 3 spoonfuls of food a day and many die. Also, there are prison camps for Families. All of this is really hard to believe happens but I guess it does.

I have been wanting to watch this but only seem to catch small portions of it. It is extremely sad though what I did see, especially of the little children.
I only pray something can be done soon to help them, no one should have to live like those kids were.
