This is the first time I have registered to this forum, but I do read posts occasionaly. I am a backup guitarist in a semi-noob band. Recently, our drummer was in a ski accident and broke his wrist and leg, so now we are fresh out of a drummer, and right before we are about to be part of a concert sponsored by our church and a few local restaraunts in the area. This concert takes place on the 4th of July in the Norfolk, VA area. You dont have to be a resident, you can just come for the fun and meet new people. If anyone is interested in being a drummer temporarily or even long term please feel free to post your thoughts and interest. Dont be shy about your skills, we are open to all kinds of talent. The concert will have barbeques, games and a couple of rides, and the proceeds from ticket sales, food and parking will help out other bands maintain equiptment, hire members, and the rest will be donated to the community.
