  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I signed my husband up here on CF last night. His name is DROOPY. He doesn't know that much about computers, so he may not be here much. We are going to have to take turns though, only one computer:cry: WE were sitting around last night and I was tired and he was bored and he wanted to know what was so special about CF, so I signed him up. I showed him how to post and how do do the site then went to bed. This morning he was like "it's so confusing, and big" LOL, it was funny. Anyways, I'm gonna try to get him on everyday, it will be good practice if he wants to take some courses over the computer.

ME and my husband were talking and I told him we should of used my nick name for him. It is Dough Boy!! When we met, I got him a shirt with the PHILS dough boy on it. It was so cute, but clearly a MAN shouldn't wear something like that, but he did. So I call him my dough boy. He's gonna kill me for telling ya'll this~~ oh well.

That's cool. I saw one of your husbands posts on another forum and he seemed so lost! He'll get used to it. We all do.
he is lost, he always wants me to stand over his shoulder and tell him what to do and where to go. I will for a little while, but then I'm like I've have thingd to do. Then he gets frustrated and logs off. But it is funny cause he will ask me now did anyone respond to my post(all the time).^_^

no clue if he's been here. We only have one computer so we takes turns. He doesn't know much about computers so I have to log him on. I showed him 20 times already but I still have to. HE also wants me to stand over him, I do sometimes but i usually wander off to do other things.

Hehe, luckly my wife knows the basics. But there are times where I have to reinstall one of her programs onto a larger partition, because she installed on my primary and end up running out of space. Just reasure him that it is more difficult than he may think to mess something up on the computer with normal use. Though keep any large, blunt objects away from him in the instance he becomes frustrated with the computer. ^_^
