Is it ok to drink as long as you don't get drink?

As for my 2 cents I follow Jesus's example, I drink alcohol, usually wine on a special occasion such as christmas, nice dinner etc. If I'm with a friend who doesn't think christians should drink I don't cause I know it can offend them (like Paul says not to use your freedom to cause offence). I think it is a cultural issue, I lived in a christian community in europe for a while and everyone drank alcohol, but I understand in north america it is more conserversal. But for teenagers you should follow the law and not drink until you are legal allowed, if you decide to. Also teenagers usually have a different view of alcohol than adults (ie, drink to get drunk), so that also needs to be though about.
A great way to resist temptation is to avoid putting yourself in a situation where you will be tempted.
