I'm going to Canada this summer on a church mission trip and I was wondering what the drinking age is in Canada. I've heard it's lower up there than it is in the US.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Depends on the province, some are 18, some are 19. You're 19 so its legal anywhere in Canada. But if you're on a church mission trip, should your concern really be whether you can drink or not?

If we stop on the way up to get some food, I'll probably get myself a beer. I just enjoy good beer, and as long as I don't get drunk I'm pretty sure no one will care.

Yeah I know, I was a beer delivery man this summer (greatest college job ever!!) and we did Molson. That XXX is an absolute killer, 7.3% alchohol. Thats like 1.5 beers in each bottle. It'll do some damage
.

its 18 some places and some places are 19 your 19 you can get in to any club make sure you don't drink around those christian people. Some people might be sensitve to it
