i think i'm going to have a "closure" talk with my ex tomorrow nite. please pray that he will give me the strength to let go...but at the same time, protect my heart. she's the only girl i've ever loved....these past few days, it's been hard to hear God and i've been drifting...please pray that i will get back on track, when in a few hours, im probably gonna feel more lonely than ever...

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Father God, I lift my brother up to You. LORD You're the only One that truly knows how our hearts ache in these situations. I pray that You be in complete control, help my brother to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading, give him courage, and peace. I pray that You will bring healing to his heart and comfort him during this difficult time. I ask that You bless him for not bending to his own will, but following You. Thank You LORD for always being with us, in Jesus' name, amen.
