Dreams

Do any of you have dreams about "the one"? I know that there are many times God reveals things to me in my sleep. Sometimes I dream about things to come, other times my dreams are a manifestation of my sub-conscious mind. I've had two dreams in the last two weeks about God's chosen one for me. I wonder if that's God's way of sustaining me until that person does come into my life. I always wake up feeling so hopeful.

Heh, I get a lot of weird dreams about events that are going to happen in my life. Most of them are stressful things I'll have to face (like going back to school. bleh!).:o As for 'the one', I have dreamed about my future wife for the longest time... I always see her in my dreams, I know what she's like, (personality, heart, character, etc.), but I cannot see her face at all so I don't know what she looks like or even what race she is... All I know is I am in love with this woman. Totally in love... In the past few years I've forgotten about her, but, recently I've met someone whom reminds me of this girl... the only problem is she even greater than the woman I've dreamed of. *SIGH* I hope it's her... I really do.

Funny you mention this. Last night I had the oddest dream. I was with a very nice young woman who i was close to that i've never met. Then my ex came back when we were getting really close. I realised the huge bind I was in then I woke up. Very aggrivating dream!

I dont remember most of my dreams, but i did have a dream about a girl i met at work the day before. i would say it has no significance.

I've had two dreams in the last two weeks about God's chosen one for me.

Personally, I don't believe in dreams. I had a dream a few months back that told me how a girl in my life felt about me. In short, I got a card in the mail from her. I could not read the card, so I held to up to a light, and I could read it. When I woke up I remebered everthing about the dream so vividly, and I still do. I just knew that the symbolism was that Jesus was this light in the dream, and he had revealed this to me. Even the next day, I heard a preacher speaking on how God reveals things to us in dreams sometimes.

However, the dream did not hold true, and the girl is no longer in my life. (The dream had told otherwise). This dream confused me for a good while, so I sumbitted it to dreamdoctor, and got his opinion on it.

So, I guess my two cents is don't put to much into dreams. If you hold onto to them as prophesy, you might yourself feeling rather empty when they don't come true.
