  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I hate it when i have a good dream then i wake up and find it was all a dream that totally sucks. Alot of times I wished never to have that dream.

Especially if it's about the past even a relationship i never had but had in a dream only to wake up and find out it was a dream.

I use to practice lucid dreaming but when i gain control i couldn't hold the dream i woke up everytime. :( so gave up trying.

I am naturally a lucid dreamer. I always have been. That's how I've been able to for the most part, handle any nightmares I've ever had. There's maybe been one or two times where I still am lucidly dreaming, but I can't control it, so I just have the complete knowledge that it is a dream, but no control.

It's kinda fun... 'cause if I really don't like where it's going, I can change it a bit- kinda like a "choice your own adventure" book.

for sure amazing for nightmares once you gain control and you no it's a dream nothing fears you.

But i wish i can stay lucid instead waking up. maybe i should start practicing again.

I have also had the occasional lucid dream by accident. They are quite fun. I usually end up acting like a super hero, flying around and stuff, because if you know you are dreaming, you do not have to hold true to the laws of nature, kinda like the Matrix... free your mind.
