  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Dreams can and do reflect what's going on in your own mind. Unusal stress can trigger vivid dreams--this is a well documented symptom of PTSD. Almost everyone who has spent years in schooling has had some variation of the "examination dream" (which Freud wrote about--you suddenly realize you have a school exam or assignment imminent, and you've been to none of the classes or done none of the work.) But fundamentally, dreams are just a function of the brain. Nothing prophetic or supernatural.

Who can truly measure the mind? The mind and the brain are different. The brain is finite but the mind is infinite. The function of the brain is to carry out the thoughts of the mind. But the mind itself is not physical object like the brain. So who can truly say what the function or purpose of a dream. Every year, astronomers find new discoveries in our universe that causes them to constantly rewrite their scientific theories. Our minds, like the universe has no boundaries. Who can tell us what is the information storage capacity of our minds? We have yet to fully discover the complete realm of our minds. There is no absolutes on how the mind work so we cannot jump to any conclusions on the purpose of a dream.
