Dream Last night

Hi everyone, my name is andrew and i had a dream last night. This is my first time using this website as I at this point do not have the gift of dream interpretation.

My dream was as follows

From what I remember, I was going about life when i noticed that one of my toenails was black and about to fall off. So I bent down to pull it off and when i did, I saw underneath it there was much more damage. Bugs were actually eating away at my flesh and when i got to it there was very little meat left on my foot.

Later or earlier in the dream i looked down at one of my feet and it had twelve toes, which was the same foot above.

When i realized the severity of the problems with my foot and and saw the bugs eating my flesh, i knew that i had to seek help.

From there my memory jumps to me seeing my foot healing back up and partially repaired, though some of the right side is still missing- the skin is healthy and healing.

Its definitely an alarming dream and before I try to interpret the dream itself i would like to know what someone else has to say.

Well it just reminded me of this prophesy, can't say much more.

Daniel 2: 41And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. 42And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

Ask God where you have given the enemy legal permission to attack. I think God may be showing you something personal. Luke 10:19 "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." Demons sometimes are referred to as evil beings. Satan disguised himself as a serpent in the garden. I feel like God may be asking, "Do you want to be partially healed or healed all the way?" It's up to you.

at this point the only thing that stuck out to me was meat ... made more sense as I read on

12 ... there are twelve tribes ... in biblical mathematics 12 represents governmental perfection ...

When i realized the severity of the problems with my foot and and saw the bugs eating my flesh, i knew that i had to seek help.

there is a severe eating away of the meat in scripture that is being fed to the church body (which incorporates the 12 tribes) ... it is a severe problem ... the help? I'm guessing was from the Lord ...

From there my memory jumps to me seeing my foot healing back up and partially repaired, though some of the right side is still missing- the skin is healthy and healing.

those who stick to or return to the Word are healed and healthy in heaven ... no more tears in heaven ... partially repaired ... only a remnant makes it through ...

Its definitely an alarming dream and before I try to interpret the dream itself i would like to know what someone else has to say.

Hello Andrew, and good to have you out here. When I dream of foot/feet it usually pertains to my walk (heart attitude) -- whether I'm being affirmed that I'm moving in the proper direction OR adjustment is required. I know this seems rather alarming, but just consider that God is speaking to you and He gave you a message that would cause you to seek out the meaning. If you've ever done any code work -- like programming in computer science or just fun games as a kid -- it takes studying up on the code. Because you've studied, you remember, right?

So, a diseased foot in dream symbols shows up "spirit of offense" or perhaps offended. LilMissMontana hit it with the number 12 which means divine government. At the end -- forward to future -- the foot is healing. My question for you to ask yourself is there someone who has hurt you, wounded you, such that you are having a difficult time moving forward in your life. God wants you healed and set free in order for you to experience your destiny in Him and His kingdom (divine government).

I hope this helps -- I can tell you through experience, offense is something we all deal with at some time or other -- and for me, its something I have to keep laying at Jesus' feet so I can be free

Someone's foot might represent their understanding, so that someone's foot lacking meat could represent someone lacking a meaty (i.e. mature) understanding, such as of God's truth (cf. Hebrews 5:12-14, 1 Corinthians 3:2).

A foot with twelve toes (cf. the twelve apostles) could represent the apostolic (i.e. the correct) understanding of God's Word (cf. Luke 24:45).

The right side might represent the conscious side (like the left side can represent the subconscious side). So if the left side of the foot filled in first, while some of the right side was still missing, this could represent someone's subconscious (cf. the spiritual) understanding of God's Word growing faster than his conscious (cf. the intellectual) understanding of it.

Acronck when I read your dream I got the feeling it was to do with your core beliefs in Christianity.
Your feet ground you they hold our body up Your whole body relies on the well being of your feet (your faith). I felt the bugs and damage was unrepentant sin or places you are holding back in your christian life.

If you don't deal with it it will fester and cause problems later and you might lose something close to you.

The extra 2 toes are possibly false teachings or people that will influence you soon away from your faith.

Maybe you will be scarred from it but you will get better. You wont be the same but will have greater character and faith.

interesting ... I never associated the extra toes with the number 2 ... but, yeah, that makes sense ... twelve tribes ... 2 missing in action due to idolatry... Ephraim and Dan, I seem to remember ... been a while ... they are, in the end, restored ... God is good ... He wants that none should perish ...

I was thinking the extra toes look like the others but are not needed. 10 toes is perfect balance, an exact right number, just like the gospel and jesus teachings. With the other 2 toes I was thinking about things like christian science stuff as an example. Its not needed but it might look necessary to some.

If you mess around with it and start questioning what you believe, it could lead to disillusionment. Evolution/creation arguments is time lost and doesn't prove that fruitful.Lol its mostly frustrating. (How many pointless hours have I done this for) I could have been telling the gospel to someone instead.

That's probably the best example I could think of.

I don’t usually respond on this thread, But while reading your post, these scriptures came to mind

Romans 10 :15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things.

Ehesians 6:15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

When I think of feet it usually speaks about spreading the gospel, is it that you were one to spread the gospel, to all and everyone, but haven’t been doing that anymore. Things in your life started creeping in and started eating at that part of your walk with the Lord. You say you tried to tear off the surface, but there seemed to be an underlying problem. Im not sure about your twelve toes because you said you not sure whether it was earlier or later in the dream…

But you say you realized the seriousness of the problem.

Then later you see your feet being healed.. It could be that God want to address that areas in your life that need healing, the underlying issues, so that once more He is able to send you to preach the Gospel of peace, and that you are truly ready, God always seem to reveal, the issue, but then also the promise… I see the healed feet as a promise that He can take care of the bugs and stuff…
You said you are partially healed, but you see progress. Maybe what God plans to do with your life, wont be overnight, but will take time..

This is a beautiful Scripture. We are all hoping and waiting upon Good News at different points along our life's journey. That's why it is so important for us to be the Good News as often as we can. Thanks for posting, Rose

That's probably the best example I could think of.

This example pretty accurately describes what has been going on in my life for the past few months. Questions arise sometimes, but i always persevere fight through them knowing whatever they might be, that they will go away when I experience God again.

I started looking up what i would call "proof" for christianity when i was 18. That greatly improved my faith and my core beliefs are biblical. But maybe God is now telling me that the things i look at as necessary are not as necessary as i might think. I was planning on doing a curriculum on the big bag theory, evolution ect this summer to help those who struggle with their faith.

So far most of what people have said pertains so much to my life that i dont know where to start!

very true Rose_bud. This adds a lot more depth to what I've been going through. I have been called to preach the gospel and i feel like i have been very ineffective in doing so because of my lack of boldness, which ultimately comes from a lack of faith that creeps in when i'm really on fire and willing.

God has also revealed to me in the past couple days my inability to submit/obey to some of the temporary authority that was placed over me for a short time. I had a hard time accepting leadership over me based on what i felt about the person. Rather than be submissive and willing to serve, I waited until the full time leadership got back to start doing so. that was about a month ago but i feel like that caused a rift between me and God.
