As I read your dream - here is what God gave me.

ON WINGS OF EAGLES​

My child I take you to the mountain top.
Your prayers lifted on the wings of eagles shall never stop.

The eagle's wings drop them at my very throne.

I was once given an infraction there just for suggesting that somebody's dream might have been just a dream.

Yeah... been there. It's getting better there, though.

When you have a dream that needs an interpretation - you know it - you also know when it is just a dream

Nothing about dreams is concrete, so they always leave us wondering. But some dreams just hit us, and I agree that most dreams that we know are from God, we know. They don't happen often for me, so they stand out.

That doesn't mean there aren't people who are hearing from God daily, but since this post was a stand-alone request for a spiritual interpretation, there's no reason any of us should doubt that he sensed it was from God.

God talks during the day, God talks during the night, no big deal. Sometimes we are too busy with our own thoughts and agendas to catch on during the day. God makes sure we get the message.


An eagle sees things from far, far above, and has such sharp vision that it is able to see tiny movements from far away. God sees our lives with sharp vision -- even though we think He's distant or busy with too many things, he still sees the mouse scurrying down below.

Notice that you were on the precipice, at eagle's level. It confronted you, but didn't attack -- the threat would have been within you.

The eagle has enviable, unlimited freedom. It does not depend on roads or tunnels or waterways to travel.

It does a lot of soaring. Rested movement. Using the wind currents to hold it up. It reminds me a little of people's amazement over UFO reports, that a vehicle can move so efficiently and in so many directions without expending traditional/familiar energy.

I didn't get the sense that it meant the US, but consider there are also Eurasian eagles. The eagle (not necessarily N. American?) confronted you at your level. This is where you might consider there was a n international tete-a-tete involved.

While it is more common near Scandanavian countries, the UK population has increased lately through conservation efforts.

They are alpha predators.

Free expansion was also connected with the US eagle symbolism. Independently strong. Territorial. Shrieks warnings. They are big enough to not feel threatened by other animals, including mobs of small birds.

Eagles molt in patches, taking almost half a year to replace feathers, starting with the head and working downward.

Not all feathers are replaced in a given molt. An eagle without feathers, talons, and a beak would die of starvation and exposure."

What it sounds like to me -- you are the United States, and the eagle you saw was not -- it was a bird you had thought was long gone, or busy in its own territory.

This is what I saw.

The Eagle represented God himself....

I feel this dream was representation of how God is going to give Himself freely to us.

There will be many wonderful things that His outpouring will bring.

His feathers represented the Gifts of the Holy Spirit...and the ones that were missing...were the gifts that many will claim as theirs instead of giving God the glory.

Many will try and take credit for what He will do...


This will all happen suddenly and quickly....and man will try and explain it all away.

It will be a time of great salvation.

Anyone want to take a stab at SPIRITUAL dream interpretation?

A couple of weeks ago, I had a dream in which I was on a ledge, a precipice of a high mountain.

I noticed a large eagle flying towards me, and at first was not sure what to think about this eagle coming in so fast, swooping towards my position.

As the eagle drew near, it hovered and seemed to effortlessly float in air.

It was at this point that I noticed three things:

1) the eagle was around 10 to 12 feet tall,

2) there were a few feathers noticably missing from the wings, and

3) the eagle was very regal... not condescending, but very matter of fact in his position.

I stood in awe at this sight.

Also, something very noticeable was his eyes... they were drawing and were full of wisdom and knowledge.

Please judge this, as I do not interpret dreams usually.

You have attained to a high spiritual level (either in life in general or a specifiic situation).

While this position puts you at an advantage with your enemies because it increases your visibility (eyes that see), to fall from this position is far more dangerous and has more repercussions, than to fall from a lower spiritual position.

It strikes me that you are more concerned with the eagle coming fast at you, than you are at the dangerous ledge on which you stand. Ask God for healthy fear and to make you wise as a serpent in this higher level, and to give you hinds feet for high places.

It's a HIGH mountain, so possible for you to have your (spiritual) head in the clouds, so to speak, while your feet (or flesh), are inches away from disaster (deception from independence (overly self-confident, or pride)

The Eagle, which I believe is the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation attribute of God, is yearning for and beckoning you with His eyes ('I will guide you with mine eyes'), to protect you in this new place, and guide you by giving you the new wisdom and revelation that you need for this spiritual level. (the eagle is almost renewed with new feathers, signifying progressively new revelation).

The Eagle came fast. As Diane said in her post, He came with no delay to give you new wisdom for the new level. His Wisdom will impart the authority to govern or reign in life at this level with kingly authority.

Recognize the new level of danger and keep focused on God's Wisdom for guidance to navigate new territory.

I figured out all by lonesome that such a dream needed no special interpretation...

My interpretation of this is that you are in the wrong line of work, you are being called to being an accountant.

Good point! The protagonist seemed very content to be up there.

This would apply whether the dream was a personal or a broader scope.

RP, I had a eureka moment a few days ago and couldn't find your dream, so I started a thread in the dreams forum hoping someone would claim your dream. This is from my OP... you don't need to look at the thread.




I just realized that there was a passage in Ezekiel talking about two eagles.

Eze 17
A great eagle came to Lebanon, one with great wings, long of pinion, full of feathers, having different colors to him. And he

Have you had any more thoughts on your dream? People in the dream forum (posted and emailed) have received a lot of sensations lately about disruption of political systems, splitting of territories, and concerns over physical attacks against US leadership.

Some of the visions are just confirmed in current news, but the clarity of these have supported the dreams that reference unfamiliar information, like what you've seen with the two eagles.
