Dream about Bill Gates

Last night I dreampt that I was on a long walk with Bill Gates and that he wanted to marry me. He seemed to be a very humble man and I was floored that he would want to marry a common suburbian. Then when we were talking, the topic came to religion. I was curious if I could be compatible. He mentioned that Kim Clement had prophesied over him and I guess it had made a difference for him.

P.S. Im currently married in real life, but its not smooth right now.

Hi Anon,
I believe this may be an invitation from the Lord for you to join together with something. Bill Gates symbolizes entrepreneurship, wealth, and invention. I believe the Lord is showing you a glimpse of your calling here. Have you ever thought about starting your own business or aligning with one? I will continue to consider your dream..there's more to be said here but I'm not exactly sure what that is yet.

Is money is something that is a difficult topic in your marriage?

When you were measuring up this persons faith, he mentioned Kim C., so it would be important to know how "you" feel about Kim.

This could be a dream of you asking yourself "what do I want in a man" or it could be a dream given to you by the Lord showing you that He is your husband in many ways.

1. He is your provider
2. He is your wise and creative guide
3 He can communicate his love to you in many ways.
4. He wants you as His bride and He desires you

Thank you for the responses. Yes money is one such aspect we cannot much agree on. He feels financially bound by circumstances, but I believe with wisdom God can show us how to increase our 'talents' for the blessing of our family n others.

I am unsure of Kim but I think overall, hes a goodman who loves God and does hear from Him. I also know hes had prophesies for influential people. I dont know about Bill Gates.

I dont know what my calling is, right now im a wife and mommy. I will say this, Ive been heading towards a crisis/crossroads of faith and am just beginning to come thriough it to the other side where there is hope and freedom and life.

Thank you for your explanation that helps to see the dream in its proper light, and in that light of spiritual and financial aspects, I can see where Kim could be a type of Holy Spirit by what you said here "Kim Clement had prophesied over him and I guess it had made a difference for him" I am assuming that the "difference" you/he referred to was a positive one, as this in turn would point to your belief that God can "bless" your talents/giftings to increase your income and also be Lord of your life in a positive way.


Since Kim is supposed to be a type of prophet, it would also point to the fact that now and in the future "The Lord will speak into your lives, guide your paths, and prepare your way in advance" to increase your income.(note that all of the underlined words in this paragraph are duties of a prophet).

You said you were "floored" in this dream, {floored that he would want to marry a "common" suburbian....(suburban housewife perhaps??)} and the emotion of a dream is a key. Do you think or feel unworthy of being a "bride of Christ" ? I ask this because of this previous sentence and this following one too... "the topic came to religion. I was curious if I could be compatible. You seem to still doubt or question your postion of beloved daughter bride of our Lord.

I pray that your marriage will bloom again in His Son light, and that He blesses you financially as well as other ways that will bring you all a life abundant.

Thanks humblewatchman. Yes I felt both amazed n floored that he wanted to marry me. But yet hopeful n nervous at the same time. I woke up disappointed because the reality is my actual mrriage is suffering and ive lost sight of the beauty n simplicity n glory of the gospel of christ. its been a dark time of inner turmoil. But i want and have wanted so much more for my relationship w God.

I've found that I really need to spend more time daily getting my mind off myself and others and deliberately focus on Yahweh by thanksgiving, praising Him, playing some music ((like religious Christmas lyrics that are about Him), focusing on Scripture such as Psa 145, thinking about some of His titles, names, and attributes and singing a song to an audience of One, etc. based on such Scriptures as I Thess 5:17; John 4:24; Psa 46:10, 69:30; 71:23; and 100:4.

I see relief, and relief.

You are stressed, and possibly confronted with the need to make decisions. Here you have the sanctioned relief of a Christian prophet saying it's okay, and the "sure thing" relief of a wealthy man wanting a merger. Even when you had doubt in your mind that these were possible, both were presented as undeniably possible.

Whether this was your mind creating escape breathers, or God giving you direction, or totally unrelated symbolism, or information about the real Bill Gates, it takes you out of what you knew to be true, and shakes up the status quo.

I would encourage you to look up both names, and see if God has a lesson tied in with the information. God often leads people on little explorations -- where news articles and word definitions bring more insight. Think of the dream as a beginning, not an answer. Also look at your qualms and delights in the dream, and consider them part of the story.

Thanks 'parsely'. I am indeed quite stressed lately and so much needing the Holy Spirit's assurance, peace, and liberty. I do need to make some hefty decisions soon. Ive been wavering a lot in my mind.

Hey I read your post and it's really important for you to understand that there are many scriptures that speak of marriage in the Bible. A marriage cannot be rocky when you follow the scripture and the word of God. It's impossible!

This strikes me as concerning because it means that you and your husband have not followed the scripture accordingly. It takes two to make something crash and fall apart. If you look deeply enough you will see exactly what happened. Accountability is important on both ends. Your faith is weak, weakness cannot coincide when you have faith, for blessing will be absent.

Prayerfully consider Kim Clement in light of Jeremiah 6:13-16 (NIV):

“From the least to the greatest,
all are greedy for gain;
prophets and priests alike,
all practice deceit.
14 They dress the wound of my people
as though it were not serious.
‘Peace, peace,’ they say,
when there is no peace.
15 Are they ashamed of their detestable conduct?
No, they have no shame at all;
they do not even know how to blush.
So they will fall among the fallen;
they will be brought down when I punish them,”
says the Lord.
16 This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,

Also prayerfully consider that this dream may be a warning against "health, wealth, and prosperity" teaching, which I believe is Biblically false. BG asking you to marry him sounds like a temptation to join with this HW&P philosophy (a yoked relationship) and away from your relationship with your true husband, the Lord, and your husband who is in authority over you in the Lord and serves as your protector, unless, of course, he is leading you into sin.

Then all of us here should be willing to join in together and pray for the Holy Spirit to clearly show you Himself which way to go on these "hefty decisions". It is His will that we help each other in this way.

"Holy Spirit, I thank you that in your perfect and gentle ways you are already helping this beloved lady to see her way clearly in each transition and choice she must make... including the ones she doesn't have to make. I also thank you, that the enemy (nor other people) can disprupt or deceive her any longer, as you have set holy guards around her and her family already. Pull forward the life You have planned for her and her family, Lord, so that she may see the guideposts ahead of her. Give her a strong sense of peace deep inside of her when she chooses correctly, so that she knows she is in your perfect will. Help her to pray rightly for all involved. Thank you, Father, for her life and her witness, and the holy things she will do in your name. In Jesus name and with His blessing and power we pray these things for this woman and her family. Amen"
