In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That they are. My favorite is Rurouni Kenshin. They used to show it on Cartoon Network. I don't know if they still do, because I don't watch much TV. I just buy the DVDs. I was a fan of Kenshin way before they started showing it on Cartoon Network. It's a good show, and is based on actual Japanese history, like the Meiji Revolution.

I hate DBGT
Dbz was the bomb but I hate American Dubbing..
Lets take a look shall we at the difference.
Japan -
Goku: D*mn it Frieza I will send you to hell
America -
Goku: Darn it freiza i must forgive you
:S its pretty obivous to see they changed the story :S
Also Dragonball in Japan was full of nudity, Master Roshi used to accept naughty magazines from Krillen but nooo they took that out to.

DragonballZ-GT is aired on cartoon network you have to consider that little kids at the age 5-9 are watching cartoons and animae after school. Of course they have to tone the language & violence a little.

So? Wasn't it the same in Japan, wasn't the anime aired on stations where little kids would be able to see it all the time? Only...little kids were able to watch unedited anime without some hysterical mothers going insane over the slightest hint of violence. No no no...don't ban American dubbing...ban the Soccer Moms Of America, who complain about the violence in anime and cause the dubbing stations to change cigarettes into stinking LOLIPOPS! Even if the anime wasn't on Cartoon Network the editing would still be horrible.

It was originally a show tarrgeted towards young boys in Japan. But in America, it's considered innapropriate for kids to watch stuff like that, so they had to change some things.
