I've been into cars as long as I can remember. Really got into drag racing back in 94 when my dad got orders (Air Force) to Virginia. Got my 1st mustang at 18 from my best friend,it was an 88 5.0 LX and it already had full MAC exhaust. I got totalled 6 months later by a speeder, so I bought a 95 Sapphire Blue (dark purple) GT. It was totalled after a few months after hydroplaning on an off ramp. My last mustang was a 1990 GT that I actually put a decent amount of money in but most of it ended up being replacement parts, it started nickel and diming me so I parted it out and junked it. While parting it out I was looking for a Competition Orange 04 GT and came across the GenII F150 Lightnings. Took an 02 for a test drive and was hooked. Had it almost 5 years now and have been a best of 12.55@108 in the quarter up at MIR in Maryland. I blew the motor at a track rental in 30* weather back in December before leaving for Iraq for a year. As of right now it's paid in full and have ordered a new 5.4L built block, stage 2 heads, custom cams and a 2.3L Whipple supercharger to replace the stock Eaton. My father and I will be yanking the factory engine out at the end of the month and hopefully installing the new one if it comes in time (I'll be on R&R for 2 weeks). If it doesn't then I'll be finishing it up in December/January. Hoping for 600+ hp after it's tuned, then we'll hit the track with some used Weld Pro Stars I picked up and some Drag Radials...
