it seems that starting yesterday afternoon, we were under a spam bot attack. the bots tried to log in hundreds of times in a handful of minutes and brought the site down. this happened on a several occasions from yesterday afternoon to today. we are working to resolve the issue. thanks for your patience.

well i knew it wasn't due to the multitude of tornadoes yesterday. seems like there was destructive activity in many places.

Not to alarm anyone

meh dont worry. Each forum I have joined has ended in ruin joined Christianhardrock.net forum...suddenly it becomes a dead zone. I joined Firestream after that (the Christian Heavy metal refuge), and it gets hacked by infamous online hacking group (can't remember the group) so now that forum is a remnant, now I'm here...it's only a matter of time..you will have your day I promise LOL.

Nope what happened at each of those sites I listed actually happened..oh..and an Episcopal forum I joined also ended up being taken down but don't worry..I'm not cursed lol.

Is anything being done to correct the 503 errors issue? It appears to happen only on active pages of threads -- that is, a new single-page thread is inaccessible, a three-page thread will display pages 1 and 2 but leave 3 inaccessible, an older thread not recently accessed (like this one) will display. I'm assuming that since it indicates it's a server error, it's not an issue with my machine and is influencing others as well.
