....and businesses have been "front loading" their inventories in Q1, anticipating the Trump tariffs. For the everyday consumer, give it a month or two, depending on the product. Consumers finding empty shelves will bring back Covid flashbacks....

Of course, Trump could capitulate completely...but even then, there will be some supply chain disruptions given the current stoppage....

Yep. I know some folks on the manufacturing side of the pro audio industry, and even the boutique manufacturers who do a lot of design, assembly, and testing in the US are getting clobbered because they still source components and circuit boards from China.

At my work we’ve already gotten notice from some of our suppliers of price increases tied directly to the tariffs they now have to pay. We’re just a small print shop so our main clients are local schools, churches youth sports leagues and other small businesses. These aren’t exactly customers with a ton of money to spend on this stuff so were already expecting a drop in sales going forward.
