Indeed, they are making a Silent Hill movie, although I don't think it's going to be based on any of the existing characters. It would rock if they adapted SH2 for the big screen.

I've never played DOOM, but I'd like too. I may go see the movie, but it does sound like they've messed it up already.

2 and 4 were always my favorites. Both would be perfect for the silver screen. Though, I do fear that under the wrong hands, they will ruin the francise.

Halo the Movie would suck no matter how much video game cred it got?

And, Doom = Resident Evil results in - Not a bad movie, just not a great one.

I think if they got some no-name director it would turn out to be a campy 'kill-all-aliens' movie. But if they got what they wanted in director Ridley Scott, it would be incredible. Speaking of which I am looking forward to Kingdom of Heaven.
