What do you think about this expansion ???
I'v loved DooM 3,and i was really attending this new episode!!!
I'v bought it and finsih it whoth satisfaction !!
The new demons and weapons (the dubble shotgun,the gravity manipulator and the evil artifact that gives superhuman powers for a short time using human souls)are few but really cool,the atmosphere is fantastic and frightening as in the original game and the level design is wonderfull (expeccially the Delta Labs and the Hell) !!!!
A real good expansion whit only a problem:too short !!!

Yea, I thought the game was kinda shady too. I didn't get it, you have to use like demon powers and stuff like that dude. That's probably not a good game to play, try a different one. Sometimes other ones may seem kiddy because they're not all violent and realistic, but they're still fun. Go grab some Mario, Pikmin, or some Sonic instead... at least something without using demon powers.

I' really love Sonic & i'v played Super Mario (only the first 3 games on nes,they are amsterpieces) and hovewer i love platform !!
and i love DooM 3 in every point of wiev,it's only a awesome videogame not the reality and, however, i like fighting demons (i'v really enjoied also Painkiller) !!!!

Yeh I played all the way thru ROE and that taking human souls thing was disturbing. But anyhow if they were saved souls they would ghave already been in Heaven, not sitting inside the corpses. So it was only damned souls, which were being destroyed anyways.

Doom 3 is absolutely amazing.
But it totally freaks me out. If I finish it there is no way I'm going to put more miles on my ticker by getting the expansion.

I have never ever played a game before where I was actually scared to open the next door. I just didn't wanna.

I read in a Linux magazine where they had an article on Doom III and they mentioned that there was "a weapon that makes the BFG 9000 look weak". I have three words, "Oh my goodness". If I was ever to play Doom III I've got to get me that weapon, that'll learn those nasty knight things and the cyber deamon if they are even in Doom III. I trust that the gravity manipulator is such a weapon?

How many levels are there? There was one thing about the first two (or four if you count the two "Final Doom" installments) Dooms that really annoyed me, that was just how many levels there were and that annoying music!! After something like 30 stages of the same stuff it gets very boring. I think that about 10 or so hard stages is plenty... By the double shotgun, do you just mean the super shotgun that you get on Doom II?

Dear God, I can't even finish Sonic! I had the Sonic and Knuckles Collection and I couldn't even beat it!! I've smashed Doom II on the ultra violence level but I can't even finish a simple game such as sonic. On Sonic 3 I can't get past the carvinal level act 2 <grrrr!> and on Sonic and Knuckles I can't get past some stupid level (second act) when you're inside the pymarid with those stupid ghost things. I also can't even finish Garfield: Caught in Television Land or something like that (it came on the same CD which I gave away to my grandparents for my cousins to use. I am so embarrassed that I can't complete them...

Holy smokes, guys. It's a video game. As in "Not Real." As in "You're not really harnessing demonic powers with poor souls." You're not going to go to hell or be seduced by Satan because you used the soul cube in Doom III.

I must agree that DOOM 3 was a good game BUT it was a very bad game for Christian my brother.
using demonic power to kill people and Kill Demon its just not right
remember what Jesus said , "if I cast out Demons using Demonic power how can satans Kingdom be able to stand ?" there is no such thing as Killing demons using demonic power and if you do, you may have already been tempted by Satan and your life may not be as safe as you think without you realizing it... im sorry if this sounds very harsh... and dont think that it was just a game... game is also one of the main problem Christian teenagers is facing this days Satan is very Sly and he WILL attack u without you realizing it...

You just hit in the most important point. Look at the part of your quote I bolded.

There is no such thing. In fact, you cannot use demonic power in reality. And even if you can, you cannot do it through a video game. You are forgetting that DoomIII, and every single other video game in the world, is not real. It has never been real. It never will be real. It is an incredibly complex combination of computer data. When you use the 'demonic powers' in that game, you are not actually using demonic powers. You are triggering the game to send a burst of data that projects an image onto the screen and a corresponding reaction from the game.

If someone finds themselves tempted to dabble in the dark arts as a result of a video game (Doom, of all games), then that person was already lost to begin with.

YOU ARE WRONG ! I may be young and all but I've experienced many different things in life that Proof the Existence of demonic power...
if u dont believe me, read a book tittle,"He came to set the captives free" by Mary K baxter... I hope you really understand what I'm trying to tell you and dont get offended...
