  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Don't need the baptism of the Holy Spirit? exception

Sorry, I didn't understand this post completely. You wrote 3 baptism: 1) by the Holy Spirit into Jesus is the baptism for 'salvation' (blood baptism).
2) Water baptism (being immersed in water) [in which I heard you receive the Holy Spirit after 'baptism' in water] Not sure what you mean by 'another' believer' as the believer is supposed to be you, right?
3) by Jesus with or into the Holy Spirit (The Spirit baptism). I don't understand this as the third baptism bc aren't you baptised into 'water' with Jesus and after that being given the Holy Spirit? I don't even recall reading that there are three baptisms when I have read the whole bible once unless I missed it. Thank you for your response to this and for trying to ensure that I know about something that I probably don't know about.
