im being serious when i ask this....is it true that you need to get yourself in a position or stand on your head or close to it after sex so you have a better chance at getting that sperm to go down?

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There are positions that are better for engouraging the sperm to go into the right place. You are better off on your back and some people put s cushion under the butt to tilt themselves. It's also better not to stand up straight afterwards else it will run away!

Laying on the back seems to work; also stay there for a while after; don't rush to pee or shower (or whatever).

I got pregnant twice now and never once stood on my head. My doc suggested having a towel near by, putting it under my butt and staying put, getting up they all leak out.

Yep, I'm tired, took two naps today which was nice because my nephew wasn't with me because he's got something I can't catch.

I've been told that it doesn't really help if you put the pillow under your hips and all that but I always did. I would also stay laying down for at least 30 minutes after.

I got pregnant the first time because I fell asleep instead of going to the bathroom immediately after sex.... at least, that had a factor in it....
