Yes. However, if you choose, for whatever unfathomable reason, to post in a Christian Forum, it is logical that you might expect a Christian response.

I'm not complaining about the religious nature of the responses, I'm torqued because you dont seem to understand where I'm comming from and refuse to even listen to what I'm saying.

And the answer to your opening questions is a resounding "YES". Perhaps there is a better venue you could choose in which to extoll the virtues of your warped and sinful view of "love."

i am not quite sure what the above statement means, but i am certainly NOT condescending," a word which has the implication of one who feels superior talking down to one he considers inferior. Such is most decidedly not the case! We are both sinners in the eyes of God. The only difference between us is that i admit, and ashamed of, and attempt to turn from my many sins while you, on the other hand, seem rather proud of the sin you are involved with and have been discussing, and evidence no desire to give it up--and, in fact, staunchly defend it.

"my" conscience has absolutely no bearing on what we are discussing. What we are talking about is God's Word regarding what is accceptable and what is not. Multiple sexual partners is not acceptable to God--whether they are biblically called "whoremongering" as in Ephesians 5:5, or go by the vague concealing euphemism "polyamorous" as in your Posts.

Of course i know where you are coming from. You are quite clear in your views regarding possessing multiple lovers. My understanding of this, which i am trying to communicate to you, is that you and your ilk are taking an age-old sin, trying to dress it up in a new name and "acceptable" image, and attempting to pass it off as something acceptable and, more ludicrous still, something "meaningful" and somehow connected with "love."

The sad part is, of course, that our morally-bankrupt society--which has turned from God's light and is rather quickly sliding into darkness--is ready, willing, and needful of accepting such "new"/old titilations to quench its thirst for the different and the perverse. However, Christians are not, so you are carrying out your sales pitch at the wrong door.

So how can you think/say that i "haven't been listening?"

I have no interest in continuing a discussion with someone who either cant or wont hear what I have to say; I feel like you are refusing to even attempt to see things from my point of view as well as being dismissive and condescending.

In all honesty, i have seen things from your "point of view" quite clearly, in living color and 3d--because i've been there and been delivered from that specific point of view not so long ago, relatively speaking.

So, before you run off, why not concisely, clearly, and untorquedly explain EXACTLY and PRECISELY what you feel i have missed and i will be more than happy to apologize if your assertion is true. If, on the other hand, this is just a case of your tender feelings being hurt because someone has the audacity to disagree with your perception of right and wrong, good and bad, Love and sin--see ya.
