Not to pick specifically on Waltz, ... but, companies who need secure
communications WOULD NEVER USE HARDWARE (computers or phones)
or software (such as Gmail) that IS NOT DESIGNED FOR SECURE
COMMUNICATION.

Regardless of the official response of this government to the email/
messaging blunders, history will see this government as a bunch of
amateurs, when it comes to security practices.

These continuing securoty blunders, work to make America a laughingstock
to its enemies.

Well sure there are people that know about computer security. NSA, CIA, FBI, DOD, Homeland.. etc.. all of those have people that know LOTS about computer security.

I would go out on a limb and say there are probably LOTS of rules, procedures and regulations around computer security in the government.

Getting those at the top to follow said rules and regulations when there is apparently no punishment for not following them is apparently another thing.

To go a step further. I do believe if someone at lower level used non-secure channels they would be in trouble.
