My family sucks at gift buying I did not have a favorite since I took most things back, I did keep the automatic can opener (one of my nicer gifts) and could not get it to work. My nephew finally got it going after about an hour. Then when I attempted to use it again--it got stuck on a can of mushrooms--could not get in the can and could not get the opener off the can neither could dh so we threw both in the garbage...
