To this one 3 years. I had not had such good luck w/ men having buried 2 in 10 years (one was my soulmate the other satan incarnate)and then a couple of less than desirables just to pass time.

I was living in a town about 70 miles north and He had a place on the river. A girlfriend of mine who was "in love" w/a hunting buddy of his said she had "found the perfect guy for me". I put her off a time or two and cancelled a date or two and finally went down there to shut her up for a bar-b-q. NEVER LEFT. He's a John Deere driving, tobacco chewing good-old boy and one of the best men I have ever know. Heart of Gold. I need to call that girl and thank her AGAIN.

With Mom, Dad and Hubby (Where Would not be important). I would try & get my goodbyes said and comfort them if possible, preparing them for their loss.

We have a dog who OWNS US. We Have cows, (I hate em). We live on the river and are surrounded by all kinds of wonderous (and not so wonderous {snakes}) creatures. It's hard in the winter, but full of glory all spring and summer long. Hubby says you gotta pay to play.

In the South we'd call it God's Country. I live within 75 feet of a beautiful bend in the Black Warrior River. I have a 4 mile dirt driveway off a major state hwy in a college town. So, it's open fields of Cotton, Soybeans and Corn on one side, Thick and animal rich woods on the other and the river dead in front. BEAUTY.
