MVA, to what version of the truth are you referring.... perhaps what you see is not compatible with your version of the truth..... perhaps sharing will help, and then again perhaps not, it depends on if you believe that you have "the truth" and everyone else does not.... balls in your court.....

If the father is the one doing the seeking and the reconciling, then it renders that "truth" meaningless... given that God seeks and saves without anyone's permission, it is quite possible that there are those who know God and have no idea who Jesus is.... so then, just because someone said Jesus said it does not mean he did say it, and given than people can be wooed to God without knowing who Jesus is, I think your version of biblical truth is tenuous....

Are you now suggesting that God cannot "woo" humans? Or that only the Holy Spirit woos? In either case it would still cause problems for your initial premise...
