  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Shannon,

Hi, my sister in Christ. :) Your post is not silly at all-- I am a dog lover too, and if I were in your shoes, I would also be very upset. I am praying for you and for the safe return of your dog. :prayer: Take care of yourself, and please keep us updated.

In Christ,
Chris

I think that a dog is such an important part of our lives. My mom took care of my dog all summer while I worked in another city, I know your pain of seperation. It's even harder when you don't knwo where he is.
I think that it is so amazing that even what you consider to be a silly request you still have the faith to place it in God's hands. God knows your pain - try to rest in Him, while he moves in your life.

You should take a photo of the dog and make an 8x11" poster with

contact information - use the kennel phone and info to keep your

identity out of it. Post it on telephone poles and around the area

that it was lost..in supermarkets, churches too.... also put it in the
paper for the weekend edition...

mention the dogs name this is important and a collar if it had one on.

Give some to animal control in this area too and the police... It is

worth the time... some kid or elder may have taken it in not thinking.
