  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My dogs belly and skin areas are red and irritated.
Most are mosquito bites.( the town didn't spray this year)
No fleas and no ticks.

I have tried spraying with the anti-itch spray, he hates it.( I will try to wipe the spray on, for less of a shock)

My dog is a Toy Fox terrier, We use the flea and tick prevention stuff on him.
But this year he is being tortured.

Haven't noticed any irritation on the outdoor kitten.

But when I am outside in the evening I am eaten up by mosquitos.

Oh poor puppy. I have a little TFT myself, luckily we haven't had any issues with mosquitos this year since they've been spraying like mad. We had our first West Nile case this year about 10 miles away from my house, so out comes the pesticides. Are you sure it's mosquitos? I know my TFT has allergies which cause his skin, especially his paws and stomach, to be itchy and red. We switched food and it stopped. Make sure there aren't any spots in your yard for mosquitos to be breeding and make sure your pups on heartworm prevention. I'm not sure what you could use on him for relief, since I'd be too worried he'd lick it off and make himself sick. You can always try some ice if he'll let you. That can stop the itching, but it's just a quick fix. Hope your pup gets to feeling better.
