I really think that annoying people, mostly Christians is why many of them engage in conversations concerning evolution or creation. They think that they have superior intelligence and want to flaunt and twist words and taunt. Did I say it gets on my nerves sometimes?

You know what peeves me? Is people with the little Christian symbol on their profiles but then they hate every word in the bible or don't believe in anything God said. That peeves me. How can someone say they are Christian and deny every word of God except the lovey dovey ones? If its about love peace and happiness they except it. If its about Satan, sin, sinners, or hell they refute it. You should appreciate every word of God's not just the parts that make you feel fuzzy and warm inside.

I expect atheists to dislike us but I get ticked off when "Christians" hate God.

I am a member of a mainstream online community on which a variety of topics are discussed, from simple things such as food likes and dislikes to stronger issues such as politics and religion. There are both unbelievers and believers who are members of the site, and seeing that it is mainly secular Website, many of the secular (especially atheistic and agnostic members) really like to get their jabs in about Christians, in general, and this is one of the ways they do it.

As far as school is concerned, this was an issue I was faced with several years ago when I was in school, but what I'm talking about is not necessarily in schools, but on other forums and message boards (as well as with the people we may encounter in person), in which an unbeliever may refer to a believer in such ways, either directly addressing them, or speaking about them with their unbelieving "cronies". It's kind of hard to explain what I'm getting at.

I know exactly what you're talking about.

On secular forums of all types, it is a rather common occurence for the atheists to start "off topic" threads with such titles as "proof God doesn't exist", with some pathetic post or link they think "proves" christians are all insane, and then flame anyone who shows up to say otherwise.


In one case, I am regularly labeled an "idiot" just because of my stance on creation, even though the forum's members well know I am probably smarter and better educated than most of them.

And by your lack of love towards the spiritually crippled is not full of satan?

Atheists are people too and thus are deserving of the same love and respect as any other human being. Trust me, I was one.
