I'm saddened, by what's going on. We're in a shutdown. Trump is bailing out Argentina. If the right guy wins. Our Soybeans account is gone . Because of the Tariffs. And Trump rather give money to Conservative countries. Instead of the people, that need assistance in this country.

The closest thing to that is "The terminations, which have hit more than half a dozen federal agencies, are part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to pressure congressional Democrats to end the ongoing government shutdown." Yes, Trump is trying to pressure the Democrats, but the Republicans could also end it by extending subsidies to the Obamacare marketplace which are set to end in a couple of weeks.
but they need the help of the democrats they do not have a large enough majority to get things through on their own. If the demorats will not play ball then at best they share blame and at worst it is on them.
As someone who was SPED in school the way I see it is you want your money to benefit the most people. When cuts have to be made it makes more sense to cut what benefits less people that is just life and common sense. Remember before schools were required to provide special ED parents of those children were also not required to send them to school either and try to pay for it.
Yeah, just put them out to pasture. Not like we need them useless eaters.
I did not say that only that when cuts have to be made all else being equal if something benefits say 5% of the population and something else benefits 95% of the population which makes more sense. Not that we kill them or anything.
Just be sure to keep them on the back 40, can’t be disturbing the normal people.

no do not kill people that does not mean that special ED is particularly something that benefits a large part of the population directly. It was in the 80s when the IDEA passed did they kill them before them nope all it was was that a district was not REQUIRED to accept special needs kids who could not be in mainline classrooms as a result those parents broke no law by not sending their kid to school, but they did not prevent them from either paying if they could afford to so or providing basic education at home. For example, I was SPED due to a moderate case of CP if I went to school in the 70s and early 80s as opposed to the late 90s through the 2000s my parents would NOT be required to send me to school, BUT there was no law that said that my parents could not either pay for assistance or even simply teach me basic skills at home such as how to read and do simple math now would I be able to get as far as I got probably not but would I not be allowed to have basic skills that I could handle also no.

Most of this “goes away” and we’re back to providing education to the bulk, (but by no means “all”), educable children and those children who fall-in-the cracks, well, that’s what “families” are for!
