Does the UCC believe in evolution?

As you can see by my faith icon I am Catholic, and as you may (or may not) know the RCC accepts theistic evolution. So, that said, what is the United Church's stance on evolution? I ask this because I will be attending a service soon (it's only about a two minute drive from where I live), and I was curious.

Also, what about "the big bang"?

I'm anything but an expert on the UCC, but the research I've done indicates that the UCC as a whole has no problem with evolution or science in general. Of course, the UCC is a congreational church, so your local church may vary.
