there are some things you are missing. 1. when they were talking about circumcision it is always talking the "enterance" requirement to the covenant, in order to receive the benefits/ blessings of the covenant , which was considered "salvation". It would be like asking the question what do I have to do to enter Costco. do I need my own Costco card or do I use the Lord's Costo card. If I use my own then why do I need the Lords? Salvation in this case does not mean going to heaven. it might include it but that is not what they are talking about.

The Ordinances and their ceremonies were nailed to the cross, no longer needed after the death of our savior ... He was the final and perfect sacrifice for all ... for all times. The earthly sanctuary system shows how salvation would occur in heaven through Jesus (it was an example) to help us understand.

Circumcision of the heart is a work of the Holy Spirit that occurs when a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior.
We (believers) all get circumcised .... in the heart.

3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. (Ga 5:3–4)

Circumcision is more than just an entry requirement. It represents an attempt to be justified by obedience to the law. And for Christians to do this means the have become estranged from Christ and have fallen from grace.

Today, we do not look at circumcision as the primary offending event. We may not even know what the offending event is. But we do see many who identify as Christians who "desire to be under the law" (Ga 4:21) and "attempt to be justified by law" (Ga 5:4). It is safe to assume that there was a primary offending event even if it wasn't circumcision per se. But right now, the identity of the offending event is not really important. What is important is the current state of estrangement from Christ and their fall from His grace. And the solution is within their grasp:

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Ga 5:1)

No. . .salvation has never been by law keeping. . .since Araham, salvation has been by faith (Ge 15:5-6).

The law was not given to save, the law was given to reveal sin (Ro 3:20).

I am still optimistic about the fate of God's chosen people. Covenants are all about a subjective judgment from a fair and just God. Law is more about an objective judgment of one's past and one's behavior/action. Mosaic Law is put under the Mosaic Covenant. The main point is for God to demonstrate what Law could mean through His own chosen people. The Jews have a duty of demonstrate what God's Law could mean, such that later humans can have a better grasp on what God's Grace could mean. If you don't know what Law could mean, Grace which is relative to Law is ununderstandable to humans.

We don't know the legal details of the Mosaic Covenant. The core is that Mosaic Law is defined for the Jews to observe to their best (there is room here). The accuser of Mosaic Law is Moses (as Jesus put). Another accuser is Satan, he's not for the Jews and Mosaic Law. This is the core, however we don't know if there's other legal terms. If purely by this core, it says David may not survive as he's a adulterer and murderer. We however know that David shall be saved, the question is by what?

The bottonline is, everyone being saved is through Jesus, while all covenants being granted are through Jesus. David is saved through Jesus no doubt, how legally so remains the question. The Bible also says that the Jews will be saved after the gentiles (something to that effect). Possibly it's the same question unanswered (perhaps already answered but we have yet to be revealed what has been said).
