The more you study, pray, worship.. the closer you get to God, the harder the devil will be on you. There is a saying - For every new level, there's a new devil.
If the devil WASN'T messing with you, then I'd worry

He will
never leave anyone alone, not even those whom do NOT know Christ. Contrary to what some may believe, he even attacks those in the world, but since they are doing their own thing anyway, they can not really tell.
His hope is to prolong Jesus' return as long as he can because he KNOWS that when Jesus comes back, that is IT for him.. lake of eternal fire. So whatever he can do to throw us off track, he will do. He has no shame, no concerns, no respect, no nothing.
You keep in mind though - EVERYTHING you go through, you can handle. God does not allow anything to happen to us that we cannot handle. Although we THINK we may be weak and cannot deal with it, we can. Afterall, God knows us better than anyone. He knows our breaking points.. so in all that you go through, remember that God knows you can handle it, so rejoice that God sees you with much more strength than you THOUGHT you had
And also remember that when we are weak, He is then made strong.
2 Corinthians 12
8Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
