CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There are people on here, and I think you are one of them who claim that no matter what I say, they are going to deny it. So why should I let you set me up and bait me like that? It is very obvious that you have no intention at all of being objective.

John, the problem is not that you beleive what you beleive. The problem is that you think that what you beleive is scientific. If you want to play any specific game, you have to play by the rules of that game.
No one EVEN forced you to play the science game. You decided to play the science game yourself. Now that you started playing, you have to play by the rules, or quit. Its really that simple.
Science has certain rules, and since you want your theory to be labeled as scientific, you need to play by these rules. I repeat, it was YOUR decition to play the science game!
Now, what you will have to do, is give evicence for your theory. It is important to realise that not anything counts as evidence. Just because something is possible, does not mean that its possibility counts as evidence. It only sais that it is not impossible.
The existence of a hypothesis cannot count as evidence for itself.

I do not need science to back up what I believe. People just keep asking me for scientific evidence for what I beleive. So I give them that evidence. It is up to them what they want to do with the evidence once I give it to them.

We aren't trying to fool you here John. If you post real scientific evidence for what you believe in, then we'll acknowledge that. If you post something demonstratively false, illogical, or inane, we'll point that out too.

Except you have yet to actually post anything that is even remotely scientific to back up any of your claims.
You often post some current research, and then make assumptions based on your existing ideas about this research, that in the end has no connection to the material at all.
Then you claim that this was scinetific evidence you psoted, when all it is your opinion, based on pre-existing ideas, with no evidnece to back it up.
You dodge the question in essence, by never actually posting any facts that directly support your view. You just throw something you've read out there in the hopes that it will appease us and shut us up.

Post the evidence. Actual scientific evidence. Here in this thread. Not a book. not a link to a book. Post the evidence for any of the below topics that you have previously claimed to have evidence for and explain how it supports your theory.
No more claims that we won't listen. No more claims that you have done so in the past. Stop dodging. Just do it. Be a man for once in your life and step to the plate.
Evidence for any of the below will suffice.
Gap Theory.
"The earth was covered in water" really means the Earth was in a severe Ice Age where most of the oceans froze.
Lucy is a fraud.
Modern DNA research is falsifying evolution even though we share 90% or more of our DNA with other primates.
Ruin and Destruction means massive volcanic eruptions.
Common Ancestry is false.
Mitochondrial Eve was the Eve of the Bible.
The Hebrews invented farming.
The Theory of Evolution has no conection to Genetics.
The Theory of Evolution does not have practical application in medicine, agriculture, genetics, or any other biological field of study.
Just take one, and actually detail out the evidence you have against it, and explain in detail how the evidence supports your claim. If I have mischracterized any of your views in the above, correct me, then post the evidence for it.
For everyone else, when John leaves this thread without supplying evidence for anything(as he always does), please feel free to take this list, expand or modify it, and post it to whatever new nonsense thread he starts up to try to hide his escape.

For me scientific evidence is "that which tends to prove or disprove something; based on of or pertaining to science or the sciences: scientific studies."
If I would get that from you,, then surely you'd expect a review by any scientific method into your evidence? It only seems logical to me if you ask for scientific evidence.
