God doesn't force people to be healed... OBVIOUSLY.

Ever wondered why the man at the pool of Bethesda is basically the one person that Jesus required to actually DO something to act on their faith after He had provided healing for them?

Sickness and disease itself does not glorify God. You can't find any example in the New Covenant.

That summed it up beautifully. I should have kept my mouth shut and let you wrap it up.

No he wasn't - Jesus told people to take up their beds and walk, (Mark 2v11) or to show themselves to the priest, or to stretch out their withered hand, or to wash off mud he had put on their eyes.

What are you saying?

He loves you very much though, even with mental illness, and I believe that he doesn't need to wait for you to be well before he uses you.

These other actions that you mentioned were asked of the people AFTER they were already healed.

Praise God!
That will be great.
Will you glorify God or the mental illness that you had?

Jesus loves you. He alone is the Healer.
Hallelujah!

Randy, I am having problems with him too. He's ignoring my scriptural references in this thread: Is sickness & disease a blessing or a curse?

Never mind. This guy had the thread closed. I wanted to say before it got closed that its common knowledge that WoF followers are being decieved. I used to follow Kathryn Kulman many years ago. Since then, I have learned many of WoF bad doctrines

Jim, your disease does not glorify God.

The false doctrine of unscriptural suffering has no doubt blinded you completely.

I didn't say my disease is glorying God. I am glorifying God for being with me dispite of my disease. Praising Him for being with me throughout my sufferings.

No, a disease does not glorify God. For God to receive any type of glory "through" a disease, you need to receive His healing power.

That's your problem. You deny any ministries (i.e. Joni & Friends) that Glorify God and that Healing is the only way.
