Does science actually admit "design"?

Ref: Post #240.

Again: just because something is obvious to you, does not mean that it is obvious to everyone else. Hence why people ask you for evidence for your claims.

It can't be a fault of creation if you don't believe in creation. That leaves only evolution as the problem.

I believe in creation but I don't see a problem. The genitalia of the female hyena seems to work just fine.

Now that's some serious intellectual dishonesty there. Why would God create the hyena so that the females give birth via their clitorises, meaning that they have to chew off the end of said clitorises? That seems incredibly wasteful and incredibly pointless.

People often reject what is obvious. It's too inconvenient.

Unless there is some metaphorical meaning to the whole thing.

Why does there have to metaphorical meaning to biology? That seems horrendously complicated and needless.

Citation needed for "chewing off the end....."

Any examples?

My old standby; the refusal of shoppers to properly place their shopping carts in the cart corrals. Even old ladies 'fling' them at the corral from distances of up to 10 feet away. Makes a terrible mess for the employee who has to untangle them (many times each day). They are no different than children who thoughtlessly make messes for others to clean up. This of course (which is obvious to me) can be seen throughout society in many ways.

It is obvious to me and a few others that the carts should be 'nested' neatly within the corral. Sadder still is that the store won't post a "Neatly Please" sign on the corral for fear of offending their customers (by treating them like the thoughtless children that they are).

I asked because I couldn't find this in any site on the subject (of which I am now an 'expert').

You've got a massive ego, you know that, right?
And it looks like I was repeating false information. They don't chew through the [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]. But given the size of the pups they birth, which can weigh up to 1.5 kilos per pup, with between two and four pups each litter, the [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] ruptures and cane take weeks to heal.
How's that for design?

I believe in creation but I don't see a problem. The genitalia of the female hyena seems to work just fine. They are the most populous large predator in Africa.

Yup - great design.

Chewing off the end of their pseudopenis in order to give birth - such competence of design!

At this point, I have to wonder if you are just a Poe of some sort.

When it comes to judging my competence you may be suffering from this effect yourself. ;)

Not really - recall that you have actually admitted ignorance of biology, and your continual assertions that reek of simple-mindedness ('anatomy reveals design') and a lack of relevant knowledge back-fill any holes left.

Believe it or not, nobody is impressed with the condescending hubris of know-nothing creationists with inflated ego issues.

Many find it comical that such folk find their mere opinions to suffice in arguments in which evidence is required.

Since your first foray onto this forum (at least as of late), you have revealed a near total lack of knowledge on the subjects you discuss and a total inability to provide even circumstantial evidence for ANY of your science-related claims.

No, I think I am in a grand position to judge your knowlege on these issues.

People unable to provide explanations or evidence for their claims will often hide behind lame assertions like "it is obvious."

It is a lame attempt to save face.
