From (hopefully) a loving catholic perspective, I personally believe that the virgin Mary apparitions at Fatima(Portugal) and also in Zeitun(Egypt) are part of a bigger message then just resolving the Russian communist problems that this two apparitions supposedtly addressed, personally I believe (and I don't know how this will be possible) that these events, have happen to re-unit our faiths... After all we are all creatures of god, so I believe he will try save us all from the hands of Satan...
My heart cries out with peace and love for people to realise that Satan hates us all, he tries to trick us all, and we must realise that anything said or done which has hate in it must be the works of the enemy, god would not wish any arm to come to his children, we have free will, but Satan is a liar and he will try to destroy us, his biggest trick is make us believe that he does not exist.
I also believe that Satan knows more about the sacred scriptures then we all realize... We do have an advantage over him he cannot read our minds, only god can read our minds.
Hate does not have a place in heaven.
I'm going to make a reference here to sin, the moment you commit sin, then Satan can control your mind, after this comes deaf... Take a look at the film "the passion of Christ" when Judas committed sin, after that he even tough that the children chasing him were demons, then he hang himself... so there you have the works of the dark angel in action.
There's a Egyptian web site run by an Egyptian orthodox priest where he has been filming mass over a few year now, and in this church(Egypt) you have Christians and Muslims alike attending mass in order to be blessed with holy water to cast out demons or lost souls which may have possess them without them know, so the priest goes around sprinkling holy water over everyone and then suddenly someone in the crowd will just go completely crazy just because a drop of blessed water is touch them... personally I don't know if any of this stuff could be made up, but from reading quite a lot about this subject I believe any lost soul or any demon is so scared of holy water, the crucifix, and when prayers like our father or liturgy of the saints are said that is they leave those bodies then... weather this simply the power of love and nothing else I leave this up to you.
