One of my fav. episodes is when Homer asks Ned where Ned's wife is. Ned says that she is at bible camp learning how to be more judgemental. I thought that was hilarious!

My funniest bit with him was when he was reading to his kids about Harry Potter.

"And Harry Potter, and all his magical friends... went straight to Hell for practicing witchcraft!"

Oh, and who can forget when he agreed to give Homer a lot of money, and told his sons:
"Kids, I think we are having imagination Christmas this year."
the boys:"Imagination Christmas!? Yaaay!"

No matter what fun the writers poke at Ned, you know if you had a problem or needed something that he'd be the first guy to help you. If you lived in a cartoon. LOL!

It was actually Maude who went to Bible camp to learn to be more judgmental.

I liked the original Ned; he seems to have become a bit... more zealous in his beliefs, and not in a good way. I like the Ned that quit being a Pharmacist, and said "Homer! I can see your doodle!"

Some of what he's based on, I do find a little offensive... But Flanders, for all his wacky hijinx, is sincere and kind.
