So when God created the heavens and the earth it was all spiritual and not physical? Yet you argued that it was impossible for physcal plant life to grow on Day 3 without the rays of light and the warmth of the sun...which would mean physical...you're contradicting yourself.
No, I am not contradicting myself, you didn't understand the argument. The things I mentioned not being possible according to a physical cosmos creation perspective are consistent with what has been shown that the scripture teaches: that Genesis 1 is not speaking or teaching about the physical creation of the cosmos and the earth. Study out the passages which have been referenced above herein and allow yourself to be taught by the Word of Elohim: for if not, again, it is not me or my understanding that you are rejecting in favor of your own physical minded paradigm.
Genesis 2:7 KJV
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 1:26-28 KJV
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Psalms 8:4-8 KJV
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
[Gen 1:26-28]
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
[Gen 1:26-28]
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
[Gen 1:26-28]
Hebrews 2:6-9 ASV
6 But one hath somewhere testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? Or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
[Psa 8:4]
7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; Thou crownedst him with glory and honor,
[Psa 8:5] And didst set him over the works of thy hands:
[Psa 8:6]
8 Thou didst put all things in subjection under his feet.
[Psa 8:6] For in that he subjected all things unto him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to him.
9 But we behold him who hath been made a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for every man.
1 Corinthians 15:22-28 ASV
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ's, at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet.
[Gen 1:26-28]
26 The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.
27 For, He put all things in subjection under his feet.
[Gen 1:26-28, Psa 8:6] But when he saith, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him.
[Gen 1:26-28]
28 And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all.
Continuing in the same passage:
1 Corinthians 15:35-47 ASV
35 But some one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what manner of body do they come?
36 Thou foolish one, that which thou thyself sowest is not quickened except it die:
37 and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other kind;
38 but God giveth it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
45 So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul.
[Gen 2:7] The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46 Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual,
[Gen 1:26-28] but that which is natural;
[Gen 2:7] then that which is spiritual.
[Gen 1:26-28]
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy:
[Gen 2:7] the second man is of heaven.
[Gen 1:26-28]
