"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." (Galatians 6:7-8)
So, yes a spiritually foolish person will "reap" whatsoever he or she has been sowing! But in case anyone has been sowing what is wrong, he or she can repent and start new in Jesus and then sow what is in humility in sharing with Jesus, then reap how Jesus is in our personality . . . our spiritual personality > "and you will find rest for your souls," Jesus guarantees us who live and love in submission to Him in His peace > Matthew 11:28-30.
Each person will "reap" what he or she has been sowing. You reap so much more than those tiny seeds you have sown > they will have grown. Right now, even, we are getting an emotional sample of what we really have been sowing.
Therefore it is essential that we do not sow what is in anger and unforgiveness and lust and arguing and complaining > we are commanded to put away these evil things, so that our personalities do not grow in this stuff.
"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)
"Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation" (in Philippians 2:13-16).
So, we need to put away whatever in us would cause us to complain or argue. And do this so we "become blameless and harmless" and "without fault" here in this evil world's "crooked and perverse generation" > not procrastinating until some later life!
God is able now to do this in us.
"The things which are impossible with men are possible with God," Jesus says in Luke 18:27.
Therefore, "be clothed with humility" (in 1 Peter 5:5) . . . the humility of Jesus . . . so that we reap the spirituality of Jesus in His resurrection.
Do only the thinking and praying and other works which are in the humility of Christ, in order that this is all we reap.
"Let all that you do be done with love." (1 Corinthians 16:14)
This is possible with God. So, we trust You, oh God our Father, to succeed in doing this with us . . . all You mean by Your word.
