Sometimes all you can do is trust your instincts. Something does not come from nothing. Obviously, the universe has a beginning; it had to come from somewhere. Therefore, something had to exist which transcends time, something that has always existed and will always exist separate from the physical universe. Might as well call it God.

You've just got to believe! If you can't believe tha miracles written in the Bible then you are like a Thomas. But the huge difference is you are in a harder position; you have never witnessed any miracle. How about praying this everyday and God will teach you and give you a reason to believe.

'Dear Lord Jesus, I don't actually know if your there! I and searching and I want to believe in you. Please give me faith and a new life from you as only your can revea yourself to me. This I pray in your name. Amen.'

Another way God helps me! I was looking for a quote in the Bible for another forum and look what I found!.... Matthew 16v1-4
'The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking to show them a sign from heaven. He replied, "...A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but non will be given apart from the sign of Jonah."'
Jesus is saying here that you should not be looking for a sign as the sign of Jonah has already been given. I'm afraid you'll have to get someone to explain what the sign of Jonah is as I am not sure and don't want to give you wrong info!

There are many things which point to God's existence .

Take human beings for instance .

We reproduce and multiply .

So the farther back in time , the fewer human beings .

Until there would only be one , or two .

( And even if one thinks they came from another primate type animal - the same rule applies ... back to one , or two to start with . )

So where did the originals come from ?

They couldn't have created themselves , for they have to exist already , to reproduce .

So they must have come from an Originator - or Creator , which we call God .

To think that all the complex , delicately balanced aspects of life , plants , animals , stars , planets , etc. etc. ; could just happen , without an intelligent Designer / Architect / Orchestrator , is ridiculous .

Evolution cannot explain origin , for before something can evolve , it must already exist .

Wherefore , we can estimate with certainty that everything came from One .

And that One could not be the least of all , ( for the capacity isn't there to become everything else ) , but The Greatest of all . ( For then the ability is recognized appropriately - even as bricks cannot create one single man , but man can make many bricks . )

God exists.....i got this in an email the other day and i thought it might help you.

What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him.That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

From my own perosnal expericence...i have felt God before, and he does really exist u just have to believe. Faith is like trusting a chair that u sit into hold u up. You just sit down and u trust that the chair will hold up you up. I see God everyday when i see the sun rise and set. I hope this all helped you at least a little bit.

if God did not exist and we were made by apes,then why are there still apes? God-someone wonderful, powerful and mighty had to of made everything in this world including you and I. Take the human brain,what or who made this brillant organ? Only God could have made us intelligent!

For me, my life. How God has revealed himself to me because of my FAITH in him. For it is by faith that we are saved from our sins. But God has proven himself time after time after time in my life. Someone could say that it is all false. But God has done awesome things because of the faith I've had. And no one could ever debate that, because it is my life, and I witnessed it. God lives. Just joking!
If I were you, I'd talk to people who have experienced God in a powerful way. Read online testimonies. They can't ALL be liars, or insane, can they? I've experienced God, and I'm not insane. (well I'm a bit weird, but anyway...)
Also, look into near death experiences...I've always thought they were some physcological phenomina, but after reading up on them I really believe they are true encounters with the spirit world.

This pretty much sums it up for me. Just look at everything around us. For me, it would take an insurmountable amount of faith to believe it all happened by accident. Ultimately, though, we believe what we choose to believe. If you choose God...truly choose Him...you will begin to see changes in your life that give you undeniable proof that He exists. I promise....
