  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm sorry, I don't have any idea what this has to do with the question. Can you elaborate please?

the fact that God had/has seemingly not answered some prayers for healing doesn't necessarily mean He had/has not wanted there to be such a healing, on the contrary, He is a Savior of all humans, and if heretofore there were not a few people wanting there to be a salvation for many, for most humans and even for all, how much more has God wanted to save the world?!, what pays the Lord God to cause harm/suffering to souls?!

Blessings

Why would you not just follow the Bible and 'test the spirits to see if they are of God'? What you say does not make sense. Testing to see if it is God by asking Him to show you a sign?

How does the Bible say to test the spirits?

You say I lack faith in the Bible, yet you run off with one verse and do not allocate for the contridictions you seem to believe exist. Maybe you think it is God who is giving you signs.

Of course I believe it is God. Beware of blaspheming the holy spirit. Do not say something from God is from the devil.

Let me tell you why I do not believe but know it is from God. If you open your bible to revelarion 11 it talks of the two witnesses. When I was a child it said the two witnesses were stoned to death. I hit my head on the ground one day and thought being stonef to death would be a horrible way to die. I learned about the gillotine and thought rhat would be a much better way to die. The next time I read revelation 11 it said the two witnesses had their heads cut off and after 3 1/2 days came back to life and picked up their heads and walked away. I thought that i misremembered how they died, maybe two other witnesses died by stoning in the bible, though I could never find it. Years later I asked God to show me my own death, but only if it changed, I did not want to go through life looking forward to my death. I had a dream/vision/experience, I call it being in the spirit following John's example, when one other and I were beheaded. Later, I presume it was three and a half days, I returned picked up my head and walked down the road. I was trying to figure out what do do with my head when I laid down on the side of the road, said everyone in the world hates me, what's the point, put down my head and died. Much later in my life while talking to God, God adked me to change my future. I wasn't sure what He meant but I asked Him, if He loved the two witnesses so much why did He allow man to kill them? God agreed. The next time I read Revelation 11 it said the two witnesses will be killed by demons that over power them. I read that and said, oh, you won't allow man to kill them but you would allow demons? How is that any better? God agreed and it changed to what it says today, the devil kills them (it says the beast that comes from the abyss). I agreed that would be sufficient. I have seen the bible change from my discussions with God. I put a post on Reddit one time asking how the two witnesses in the bible were killed without looking. The majority who knew said "either stoned or beheaded". That is what they said.

There is no question in my mind who gives me the things I pray for. I have prayed for, and received, gifts you couldn't even appreciate.

It is not my purpose to come here and say I am right because of my relation with God. All I have learned I have read in the bible and put into practice.

You probably don't believe me and again it is not my intent that you believe me but believe your own bible. If the bible says if we pray for things we will get them then that's the truth! Quit calling God a liar!!!

Asking you to Test the Spirits is Biblical.

The fact that you never mentioned it is suspect.

You should be knowing what you talk about instead of accusing me of something.

Sorry I stopped reading when you accused me of blashpemy although you are not following the Bible. Many will be fooled by seducing spirits.

Somehow you are fine with what you say God does conflicting with what God says in the Bible. That don't seem right to me.

I asked the one I talk to who Jesus was, and they replied the sin of the living God, the Messiah. That is how we are to test the spirits and what I did.

I really don't care what you read and don't read at this point. I am tired of people calling me a liar. I am tired of people calling God a liar.

Well here's the Bible verse so you know what it says and that I am not lying to you. You make your own determination, but don't expect others to agree with you when what you say goes against the Bible. God does not contridict God's Word. Nope.

1 John 4:1-3
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

I really hope you think about this verse and make sure that you did as it instructs. Jesus even prophesized false prophets and spirits in the last days. I am not trying to smear your name. It is for your interest I ask, not mine. I will leave now though.
