CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

1) Rape, or tendency to rape, is not a genetically controlled feature and therefore is not affected by natural selection.
2) Even if it was, it would prove a survival disadvantage. To carry, bear and rear the child would be difficult for the female. The child would likely die or be of ill health.
3) Rape is an ill-defined term. Any genetic modification would not result directly in a drive to do such a thing (as defined by society), but would cause it as a secondary result of increased libido or testosterone production, or something of the sort. This would be pressured against in our society, since anyone with such a genetic predisposition would at best have a hard time reproducing, and more likely be removed from the breeding population.
That's as clear as I can put it, I think.

Rape is generally about dominance. From an evolutionary perspective, this makes sense.
You don't want to rape the women in your village. You want to send your raiders off to the enemy village, rape all their women out of hate and a desire for dominance, leave, and then successfully reproduce doubly. Heh.
