Do you watch the AHL (American Hockey League)?

I like the Admirals and Pirates, but only because I hear about them once in a blue moon while watching NHL games. How does one even view AHL games?

You can watch games online, but I usually just go to the Griffins home games

No I don't. But I love the fact that hockey has such strong and relevant minor leagues. It's very admirable and shows the strength of the sport.

I would definitely watch AHL or American hockey league games, if they put them on TV more often. Up here in Ontario, Canada, the games are usually just seen in their regional areas, which kind of sucks.

I'm only an hours north of Toronto, and as much as I'd like to see the Marlies or Hamilton Bulldogs play, no dice! I'd have to get AHL live. And their prices are way too expensive!:o

If you are into the fighting aspects of hockey, I would almost say that the AHL is a better alternative than the NHL. It's a lot more rough and tough.

Not saying it's a bush league or anything, as lots of skilled young players are in the league as well. But it is quite amusing to watch.
