  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Does anyone know what happened to RND?

Back when I was single I bought this 'out of the egg python' on a special for $29.99 at Petco in Seattle. It wasn't much bigger then two pencils laid end to end. Over the years it grew (and grew).

A friend of mine got kicked out of his apartment (was living with his girlfriend so he asked me if I could take his snake). I said yes then he never wanted it back! Now I've got two! That is where my handle came from.

Was able to get rid of python my friend gave me but mine was now over 11 feet and had already ate my neighbors cat! My wife enters my life, she does not like the snake as she came from a third world country and actually had a childhood friend who was swallowed by a large snake.

I was woke up by my wife in the middle of the night and she is yelling at me through her closed teeth, the snake had got cold and ended up in bed with us (it wanted to be warm to). That was the last straw. I ended up giving the snake to a biker type guy the next day who had a trailer on his property that the snake was going to live in.

There it is, the reason for pythons. The folks over at the Amazing discoveries Discussoin forums were convinced that the name came from me being a Satanist and that I was either a Jesuit or had been brainwashed by them.

Pythons, you do realize that we have crackpots, freaks and froot loops all throughout this denomination and that not all Adventists are like those fanatics?

Right?

That weren't good English. Double negative, not unlike your personality. (Somebody stop me!)

Pythons, we're going to need a urine sample and some blood work just to make sure your little snake story isn't just a cover-up. Yeah.

And we're going to need you to work on Saturdays...and Sundays. Yeah.

I was under the assumption of that Night. I had a little discussion with them on the Trinity and within a couple days of that discussion ending they pulled the discussion forum down. They believed the Trinity was the wine of Babylon and “openly Admitted to Arianism”. They did offer to mail me a “DVD Video” but alas, I declined.

LOL. Imagine a fat python trying to type while looking at a computer screen at a table with Fox News running on the big-screen t.v.. If you can do that then you can imagine me.

I've grown rather fond of his interesting input over our discussions and realized he hasn't been posting for several days. Hope everything is ok for him.

I havent seen him at the other forums so his computer might be down.....
