I'm desperately trying to remember the name / first 'bit' of a song I heard about a year ago. I think it's by an Irish band and I don't think that it's very famous as lots of internet searches haven't found anything. It was played loads in the youth tent at the Walzingham 2004 conference thingy (if anyone has heard of that). Walzingham, btw, is a town in the South East ish of England with a shrine to Mary where a big Christian Catholic Conference happens every year.
Anyway, the song is in three sections. I can remember the words to the second and third sections, although they might not be exactly right.
Section 1: ??????
Section 2:
Hosanna, Lord we thank you for your love
Hosanna, Lord we need your love.
Section 3: (a bit jazzy - hands above head, clapping)
We've come to praise the name of the Lord,
To praise the name of the Lord Jesus
I realise that the odds of someone knowing this song, reading this thread are very slim, but it was worth a shot - I do think it's a great song and really want to do it in our church!!!
By the by - is there anyone else here who went to / has heard of the conference at Waltzingham? What did you think of last year? Are you going again this year?
Actually it's a silly time to ask that question as 'this year' starts on monday.
Thanks in advance!
