Does anyone have any examples of repentance in the Bible?

Saul who was Paul, his whole story is about changing direction, agreeing and walking with Jesus.
That's all repenting is, to turn from your sin and to agree with God. Paul didn't have Christians rounded up for persecution anymore but instead became an apostle and taught the gospel. It takes place in Acts 9.

Solomon; the book of Ecclesiastes is said to be written at the end of his life.

"Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, 'I have no pleasure in them'...the end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil" (v. 12:1, 13-14).

This is one of my fav redemption stories for sure. Solomon couldn't clean up the mess he made, but he showed in Ecclesiastes the very dangerous evil of pride. It's an amazing conclusion to the story of the guy with all the wisdom who became addicted to being the smartest to the point of crazy delusion.

Jer_42:10 If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you.

Repentance is coming into complete agreement with God and what His Word says about us and reckoning our desire and direction wrongfully dead...

2 Corinthians 7:10 (KJV)

[10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

after this repentance it's a working out of that salvation with fear and trembling for we see the expectation of our Lord and the weakness of ourselves...
