Does anyone else despise "Annie"?

I can't STAND that show. I don't get the love affair the theatrical world has with it. I find Annie to be obnoxious and annoying, and Mr Warbucks to be downright creepy.

Anyone else feel the same?

i think annie's pretty cool, orphan annie cartoons gave a lot of people some comic relief during the great depression, and i've liked the musical since i was younger. it was done a couple years ago locally, my mom was in it

Rockin, I think you're biased cause your mom was in it lol. I'd never heard of South Pacific till my dad was in it, so now I love it cause it always reminds me of him (and, it is a great show on its own merit).

Annie though...gack...it's so perky-bubbly-sugary-cute...nausea. And this middle-aged bald billionaire basically falling in love with a little kid...creeeeepy.
