God of Wonders has been the song that has been in my head for about 2 months now and the line "Lord of Heaven and Earth, Lord of All Creation" keep going over and over again in my head with the image of Jesus on the cross as he is raised into heaven. I know it has been debated that Worship is not about the song or the words or the feeling, but when I hear this song I feel very close and connected to God. Definetly one of my favorites though.

It is a great song. The Offerings version is my favourite (there's a harmony with Mac and Michael Tait that I think is magical), but whatever way it's sung, it draws you to the fact that our Father is holy and that the right response is to praise Him.

Ha ha Weirdo... my story too!! When our youth band first formed we were asked to play this song at a Christmas concert at church... it was awesome and I have fallen in love with the song ever since... it is my favourite worship song! Third Day do a powerhouse rendition on their OFFERINGS 2 CD - an awesome band worshipping with an awesome song! I just love how it goes from Creator to King to Saviour to God... man what a song!

BTW in response to an earlier post... the CITY ON A HILL CD's original versio of God of Wonders... it was CAEDMON'S CALL singing but not THIRD DAY, just Mac Powell's amazing voice... also Leigh Nash from Sixpence chimes in with a few lines here and there...
