Perhaps she is good for her age. Maybe she's even exceptional. Don't be so negative.

I do enjoy drawing myself. I don't think I'm great. It's just a fun side hobby. No comparing me to Bosch or Rembrandt.

Do you have some samples we could see?

Here, I'll share one of mine.

Perhaps this thread does belong in "Arts and Handicrafts," though.

I sketch a little bit been tossing around the idea of doing a couple webcomics if I actually had the time and money for hosting, I also mess around in flash and draw things electronically. Friend recently gave me an old tablet he never uses anymore so I can do more and more free hand without having to beg my parents to let me use their scanner to get my art on my laptop.

I don't think she is being big headed at all. It is good to access our gifts, give thanks for having and be proud of our talents as long as we are not going around and shouting it from the roof tops.

I write, draw and paint and I love it all, and I am very good at it all. But I don't brag about it, They are gifts given to me and I am thankful for them. Just like I am sure she is thankful for hers.

Hey, nothing wrong with confidence! It's hard to come by as an artist, but you must have it if you intend to get anywhere. More power to you! I draw horses also, been doing it for 16 years ;) I am also confident in my work, although I am certainly never satisfied! haha I am not sure how to post pictures and I don't know if I am allowed to post my website.

I like to draw, but I hardly have any time to. I usually pencil freehand, scan it and color it with Paint Shop Pro. The only things I have on the 'net right now are my avatar and a tee-shirt design I did for one of my daughters, seen at my gallery, http://www.christianforums.com/users/118925-albums1161/

My characters are like a laserized version of "Pilgrim's Progress."

Yeah I used to, back in the day. I can modestly say I was pretty awesome at it. Ha ha. I used to draw and ink for a small press anthology collection few years ago.

I have no record of being an artist, I burned all my pictures when I became a Christian becuase some were somewhat demonicly influenced. So thats that. I have no desire to draw at all and I don't care if I do. The talent was used in a certain part of my life for a reason, ultimatley in the long run it brought me to Christ. Lots of chain of events just from drawing.
